Suspected Chatham drug dealers given class A drug charges

A pair of suspected drug dealers have been charged with possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to supply in Chatham.
An investigation was launched by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate after officers attended the Thorold area after 10am on March 19.
They arrested someone in the area before arresting two more men at a home in the area and a quantity of cash and suspected class A drugs were seized.
Aaron Little, 36, of Thorold Road in Chatham, and Tyrike Lewis, 18, of Union Grove in Vauxhall in London, were both remanded in custody after appearing at Maidstone Magistrates Court on Tuesday, March 20.
Tyrike Lewis will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, April 17, and Aaron Little will appear at the same court on a date to be confirmed.
The third man arrested, a 43-year-old from Chatham, was arrested on suspicion of possessing heroin with intent to supply, but was release pending further enquiries.
