Car crashes into fence on Deanwood Drive, Gillingham and 90-year-old man hurt

An elderly man is in a serious condition in hospital after a car crashed into a fence.

The accident happened at 11.10am at the junction with Nares Road on Deanwood Drive in Gillingham.

The 90-year-old was taken to a London hospital.

A police spokesman said officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit attended to carry out initial enquiries.
