THE independent Gills Supporters Club have written to Gillingham FC chairman Paul Scally asking for a right of reply to remarks made in his programme notes for Saturday's home game against Barnsley.

Mike Keskeys, vice-chairman of the Gills Supporters' Club, said: "It's most important that every single Gillingham supporter, whether they are a member of our association or not, should realise that we have been banned by Mr Scally from contributing any form of sponsorship to the club.

Galloway is a former Gillingham midfielder now plays for Carlisle.
