Santa appears to have swapped his sleigh and reindeer for a double-decker bus this year.
Mrs Claus, aka ASD bus driver Tracy Robinson, has taken to the road to the delight of hundreds of children across Medway on their school run.
The 61-year-old gran has spent days decorating the vehicle which now houses a grotto, Christmas trees, sparkling lights and tinsel on both floors.
Youngsters are serenaded on their journey to and from school with festive tunes and lots of jovial ho, ho, ho, banter from Tracy.
It’s not the first time the self-confessed yuletide addict has adorned the bus at the company’s depot at Medway City Estate,
She has worked for the operator on and off for 20 years and over that time her festive gesture has got “bigger and better”.
One year she put on a Frozen-themed winter wonderland with a frosty forest and favourite characters from the Disney movie.
Tracy, who lives in Twydall, said: “Christmas can be a bit commercial, but the reaction I get from the kids when they see the Chrismas bus all lit up heading their way is just magical.
“I started this on Monday and some would say I have gone a bit too early.
“But it can never be too early to see the excitement on the little ones’ faces.”
Hareth Willson, ASD’s operations manager, said: “Tracy is a highly valued member of the team at ASD Coaches.
“She has been with the company for about 20 years.
“We are absolutely delighted that her bus is spreading the Christmas joy to our passengers, and it does look amazing! I know how hard Tracy has worked decorating her bus and I am very proud of her.”
ASD Coaches is also offering Medway Mobility passengers a free hot drink and sweet treat in December.
Mr Willson added: “Christmas doesn’t stop there; we have a coach heading to the Canterbury Christmas market on Monday, December 9. Tickets can be purchased over the phone on 01634 726412.”
