A town's Christmas lights switch-on was filled with festive laughs, smiles, music... and a pug.
People flocked to Rainham precinct yesterday and braved the cold and wet weather for the annual event.
The kmfm team was there presenting live music, dancers and plenty more alongside the mayor Cllr Jan Aldous.
Family entertainment kicked off in the afternoon, with families heading to the town centre, as well as the chance to meet Paddington Bear at Rainham library before the main event.
Large crowds of men, women, children and a pug were snapped alongside the kmfm board during the event.
There were also freebies from Specsavers, which sponsored the event as part of its support for the big switch-on of Medway's lights.
These included balloons, hi-vis jackets and novelty hairbands.
Visitors could also opt to have their face painted while a variety of entertainment took place on the main stage.
It was the last of the switch-ons across the Towns as part of Medway's big switch-on.
"Paddington Bear was a huge hit," one visitor said.
"It was cold and rained for a bit but spirits were still high and the mayor joined kmfm and Paddington on stage for the switch-on.
"Specsavers were handing out free merchandise and the kmfm street team were grabbing lots of pictures with posing members of the crowd.
"It was a great evening."
