Chimney fire in Dillywood Lane, Wainscott

Fire crews were called to a chimney blaze last night.

Two engines and a height vehicle tackled the flames at a property in Dillywood Lane, Wainscott, near Strood.

They were called at 9.50pm and firefighters initially used specialist chimney gear to fight the fire.

The height vehicle helped to fully extinguish the flames from above due to difficult access.

There were no reported injuries.
