Four men from Charles Street, Chatham charged over supply of cocaine and cannabis by Operation Jupiter detectives

Detectives investigating the supply of cocaine and cannabis in Chatham have charged four men.

In January this year, officers working alongside Kent Police’s Operation Jupiter team executed search warrants at two addresses in Charles Street and a further property in Batchelor Street.

Four men, who are all related, arrested in connection with the investigation have now been charged.

Abdul Alim, 29, Abdul Halim, 26, and Abdul Hakim, 27, all of Charles Street, Chatham are charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine, conspiracy to supply cannabis, being concerned in the production of cannabis and an offence related to money laundering.

Abdul Azim, 36, also of Charles Street, Chatham is charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine, conspiracy to supply cannabis, and an offence related to money laundering.

All four have been bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on November 29.

Operation Jupiter is tackling emerging criminal gangs, whose members often travel into the county from other areas, often in connection with the sale and distribution of drugs.
