Police are investigating after four shops were broken into on Walderslade Road.
Three shop fronts were damaged in the incident.
Prestige Dry Cleaners, Nail Sense nail salon and Taj Cusine all had their glass doors smashed in.
Marc Wareham, who owns Prestige Dry Cleaners said that his mother raised the alarm to police.
His parents own a hair salon next door.
The police were called at around 8am this morning.
Mr Wareham said: "They went into my fridge and microwave."
"I don't keep money in my shop."
He also said that his charity box was stolen, however, it had little money in it.
He estimates that the damage to the glass screen in his door would cost around £100.
The Taj Cusine at the front of the parade was also burgled.
Abul Monsur said that those responsible took an estimated £600, including money which was from customer's deposits.
