A teenager missing for three days has been found.

Christina Campbell failed to return to her home in Rochester on Thursday night, but has now been found and returned home.

The 15-year-old, known as Chrissie, is in Year 11 at the Thomas Aveling School in Arethusa Road, Rochester and was found at 9.45am.

Chrissie Campbell has been reported missing.

She was last seen by her mother Lou Jenner at around 9pm on Thursday.

Mrs Jenner and step-dad Stephen Jenner have been searching night and day across Medway with the help of their friends.

She put out an appeal to try and find her daughter yesterday saying: “Chrissie this is from mum and dad. If you don’t want to speak to us please, please let someone else know that you are ok.

“We are all thinking of you and want you home safe and sound.”

A Facebook campaign gathered huge support, with hundreds of comments and shares in an effort to find the teen.

And today Mrs Jenner revealed Chrissie had been found.

She wrote on Facebook: "To everyone that has shared my appeal to find chrissie campbell we have found her and with persuasion from the police and our selves we have got her home.

"I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that has helped in the last 3 day."

A spokeswoman for Kent Police had said on Saturday: "Chrissie Campbell has been reported missing.

"At this stage we are not doing a media appeal but we regularly review the risk to see whether an appeal is necessary."
