A retail store in the Medway Towns is closing permanently this weekend, just over four years after it opened.
Go Outdoors, which is found at The Brook, Chatham, will shut its doors for the last time at 6pm tomorrow.
It's thought the decision was made after failed negotiations with the landlord of the building, which used to be occupied by Tesco, to renew its contract.
One staff member explained how they were only told the store would be shutting last week.
Brad Selby said: "It has been very distressing for our staff who were only told last week we'd be closing.
"We didn't know we were closing so soon until Thursday morning. In total, 10 of us were here since the store's very beginning."
Another employee said other stores in Kent people can go to are at Canterbury and Tonbridge as they are not closing
The store had only been for four years after hundreds of people turned up to watch TV hardman Ross Kemp open it in 2016.
Go Outdoors joins Chatham's Debenhams and Gala Bingo which have been forced to close this year.
The company has been approached for more information about their decision.
