Chatham residents are being urged to look out for a 71-year-old man who went missing this weekend.

Benjamin Woods was last seen on Saturday at around 6pm in the area of Palmerstone Road.

He is described as white, with grey hair and brown eyes.

He is believed to be wearing either a white chequered coat or a black leather jacket, and a dark coloured hooded top.

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

They are asking the public to keep an eye out for him, particularly in Chatham High Street, and urge anyone who may have seen him or knows where he is to call 101 immediately quoting reference 30-0967.
