Drivers are facing heavy delays following a two-vehicle crash.

Dock Road in Chatham is partially blocked and traffic is queueing following the incident.

The accident is having a knock-on effect on traffic from the A231 Wood Street to Maritime Way.

Congestion is backed up to the Medway Tunnel, which remains busy on the approach.

One driver who is stuck in the tailbacks says it has taken them 25 minutes to move in what is usually less than a 30-second journey. They reported heavy delays on Island Way East.

The emergency services have been contacted for comment.
