A high street fashion chain is set to shut one of its Kent branches.

New Look in Gillingham High Street will close next Tuesday (September 17).

The shop has been open in the town centre for more than 30 years, and is currently in units 118/120.

New Look has a number of branches in Kent including Ashford, Canterbury, Maidstone and Sittingbourne.

Its Herne Bay store shut in summer 2018.

It is not yet known what will replace the Gillingham store.

A New Look spokesperson said: “We would like to thank all of our colleagues and the local community for their support over the years.

“We hope customers continue to shop with us online where our full product ranges can be found.”
