Man beaten unconscious in Sturdee Avenue, Gillingham

A man was beaten unconscious in a random attack in the street by a group of thugs.
Police today released CCTV images into the incident in Gillingham of three men they say can help with inquiries.
The victim was knocked out and suffered facial injuries in the assault in Sturdee Avenue and he had to be taken to hospital.
He told police he was walking down the road at about 10.30pm on Saturday, July 4 when he was approached by three men he did not know.
The group set upon him and punched him numerous times and reportedly kicked him as he lay on the floor unconscious.
Officers have launched an investigation and say after several lines of inquiry are appealing for help to identify the men in the CCTV pictures.
Investigating officer PC Husnan Ghous said: "After we received this report our officers carried out numerous enquiries including searching for and collecting CCTV. They also conducted numerous house to house inquiries.
"We understand that there has been some considerable time since this incident but we are hoping the men in the images recognise themselves and come forward or someone knows who they are and gets in touch with us."
