Police investigating an attempted theft of an ATM machine are appealing for witnesses.

It happened at around 4.45am this morning at the M2 services at Farthing Corner between Gillingham and Sittingbourne.

Two people, believed to be men, tired to rip the cashpoint from the wall but failed and drove off in a vehicle.
