Trains are not stopping at Gillingham station after a police incident.

Southeastern has reported major disruption to trains on this route.

According to its website updates: “Due to Kent Police dealing with an incident no trains are currently calling at Gillingham toward London. Customers can change at Chatham to transfer to coastbound services or for a replacement bus service back to Gillingham.”

Witnesses have reported that Balmoral Road has been taped off by police and a police helicopter is hovering above the area.
