Investigation launched as man allegedly exposed himself in Church Path, near Rainham High Street

An investigation has been launched after a man exposed himself and committed an indecent act.

The incident happened at around 9am yesterday (Monday, January 8) while a woman walked down Church Path, near Rainham High Street, towards Church Mews.

The man is described as white and slim, with slight facial hair and was wearing a black coat with the hood up, a woollen hat, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.

The suspect, who is thought to be in his 20s, left the scene towards Rainham High Street.

It is understood both Rainham School for Girls and The Howard School, in nearby Derwent Way, have issued warnings to parents to make them aware of the incident.
