Head coach Kevin Parrish is hoping the Medway public turn up in their numbers to give the Invicta Dynamos the backing they need.

The Mos turned around a 6-4 first leg deficit in Cardiff last Saturday with a 9-4 win on home ice on Sunday to progress to the play-off semi-finals 13-10 on aggregate.

And they now meet the league champions Chelmsford Chieftains for a place in the ENIHL play-off final.

Parrish (pictured) said: "Hopefully plenty of fans can come and the players put on a performance.

"The games against Cardiff were a great advert for ice hockey, with goals and fights and hopefully we will see the same again. It was as loud on Sunday as it has been all year."

"It’s the fastest team sport there is and the guys never stop moving."

Parrish’s side are up against it this weekend, starting with the home leg in Gillingham on Saturday, before a trip to Essex the following day.

In the six previous games this season, Chelmsford have won five. "Chelmsford are a good team but nobody is invincible in this sport," said Parrish. "They are definitely beatable."

Face-off on Saturday at Silver Blades, on the Gillingham Business Park, is at 5.15pm.
