Grant Baxter, one of Invicta Dynamos’ longest-serving players, is returning to the club after spending last season with Romford Raiders.
The popular utility player first appeared for the Dynamos in the 1998/99 campaign but his presence in Gillingham became more permanent from 2003 and he played seven consecutive seasons, making 275 appearances and notching 125 points.
Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish (pictured) said: "I’m delighted to have Grant back and our supporters will feel exactly the same.
"Grant’s presence could prove invaluable over the new season. On the ice, he will hit everything, chase everything and challenge anyone, while off the ice, he is a great character to have around."
Baxter, who can play in defence or as a forward, renewed acquaintances with his former team-mates when Invicta started training this week.
Parrish, meanwhile, has completed his defensive line-up by persuading Adam Copland to sign for another season.
The 25-year-old has had spells at Basingstoke Bison, Romford Raiders and Chelmsford Chieftains but will now remain in Medway for another season, looking to add to his current record of 17 goals and 56 assists from 115 appearances.
