Kevin Parrish knows his Dynamos side need to take maximum points against lowly Peterborough Islanders and Haringey Greyhounds

Invicta Dynamos go into this weekend’s double-header against ENIHL Division 1 South also-rans knowing another slip-up could cost them the title.

That is the message from Mos marketing director Martin Rider, who vowed Invicta would be focused for their two-game road trip to Peterborough Islanders on Saturday and Haringey Greyhounds on Sunday.

The two teams are entrenched in the bottom three and have just three wins between them in almost 30 league games.

Mos coach Kevin Parrish, pictured, suffered his only reverse of the season against mid-table Bracknell Hornets last month and Rider said: "With a weekend like this against two sides who we would expect to beat, we know that everyone needs to be professional.

"We need to focus. We took our foot off the gas a little that day. We can’t afford for what happened at Bracknell to happen again because we know it could cost us the league."

The Mos are a point clear of undefeated Chelmsford Chieftains at the top after Saturday’s 8-1 win Milton Keynes Thunder. American forward Nolan Boike made a big impact on his debut for the Dynamos, scoring twice at Milton Keynes, and Rider said the former University of Maine star would be a vital acquisition after the departure of Johan Stenvall.

Rider said: "He is such a good player, he has a lot of potential and he has come in at the right time with a lot of games coming up."
