Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish as committed as ever to the club despite latest turmoil

Kevin Parrish knows his Dynamos side need to take maximum points against lowly Peterborough Islanders and Haringey Greyhounds

Invicta Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish has insisted he never considered leaving the club, despite a "crazy" few weeks.

Mos host ENIHL South leaders Chelmsford Chieftains on Sunday hit by the loss of five key players, either through long-term injury or joining other clubs, with the latest departure involving Richard Bentham, who moved to Peterborough Pirates last week.

Add into the mix trouble over finding accommodation that had been guaranteed to some players and it’s not difficult to understand the mood of the coach, pictured.

"I can’t imagine there have been many coaches who have had to cope with the list of problems that we’ve had over the last few weeks," he said. "Players leaving, bad injuries and our accommodation plans twice falling through at the last minute, it’s just been crazy."

But he said he has never considered walking away.

"You’ve got to stay the course in this sort of situation," he said. "If I threw the towel in now it would make a lot of my players angry, although some of the fans might be quite happy about it!

"No, you’ve just got to keep battling until your luck changes. And, who knows, it might change against Chelmsford."
