Kevin Parrish knows his Dynamos side need to take maximum points against lowly Peterborough Islanders and Haringey Greyhounds

Kevin Parrish wants his team to bounce back from their opening defeat of the season by beating the defending champions at home.

Mos’ 100% record in ENIHL Division 1 South was ended at the reigning play-off champions Chelmsford Chieftains on Sunday and Parrish (pictured) said: "It was a bit of a wake-up call."

He added: "The players were all down afterwards and said they know it wasn’t good enough and that is a good sign at least. They want to put it right on Sunday."

Division 1 South champions Wightlink Raiders visit Silver Blades on Sunday (5.15pm) and Parrish said: "We expect they will come with a negative game plan, they did it last year, to try and hold us back. It worked for them then and I don’t see why they would change it."

He added: "We need two points, we can’t afford to lose home games. We need to turn our home back into a fortress and put fear into the other top sides."

Parrish said the key would be: "More shooting. If you don’t buy a ticket you won’t win a prize. We need the players to sometimes be a bit greedier and get shots off."

Copland returns on Sunday but Tim Smith will be unavailable for several weeks after returning to Sheffield for personal reasons.

Parrish said: "He will be a big miss but hopefully we’ll have him back soon."

Do you think the Mos can overcome the Raiders? Have your say below.
