Invicta Dynamos return to Essex this weekend on the back of a 7-3 defeat at Chelmsford Chieftains.

Head coach Kevin Parrish (pictured) switches his attention to a NIHL Southern Cup clash at Romford Raiders on Saturday before the Essex side make the return journey for a NIHL South Division 1 game 24 hours later.

After seven straight wins in the cup, the Mos will book their place in the final with victory over the Raiders.

Parrish said: "We’re sitting pretty in the table and we’ve got to go to Romford, so hopefully we’ll get a win.

"If we win we’re through to the final and you’ve got to be in it to win it."

Last Sunday in the league at Chelmsford, the Dynamos led twice inside the first period but failed to build on their bright start.

The defeat ended Invicta’s five-game winning streak and Parrish said: "We weren’t outplayed but they took their chances and we didn’t take ours. You’ve got to take your chances when you get them but we were shooting wide and high."
