Invicta Dynamos were held to a 7-7 draw at Streatham Redskins when they began the defence of their ENIHL South Division 1 title on Sunday.

Dynamos head coach Kevin Parrish gave debuts to 11 players including netminder Andrew Dickson, and the latter was beaten twice early on by Valko and Ranby. However Callum Fowler then struck twice to pull Dynamos level at the end of the first period.

New boy Scott Beeson put Invicta 3-2 up but the Redskins regained the lead through Molnar and Rasmussen. In an eventful period, Andy Smith’s strike made it 4-4, Johnston put the Redskins back in front and then Smith (pictured) scored again to send the teams in at 5-5.

In the final period the visitors looked to be on the way to victory as Liam Chong demonstrated his eye for goal but again the Redskins hit back through Madren-Britton and Rasmussen.

Invicta, however, ensured that they didn't return home empty-handed when defenceman Tim Smith bundled in a late equaliser.

Dynamos play their first home game of the season next Sunday when they meet Milton Keynes Thunder at the Silver Blades Ice Rink (5.15pm).

Do you think the Mos can bounce back with a victory? Have your say below.
