Invicta Dynamos suffer mixed fortunes on the ice after losing Richard Bentham to the EPL

Invicta Dynamos, hit by the loss of another player, enjoyed a weekend of mixed fortunes on the ice.
On Saturday Dynamos defeated Slough Jets 5-4 in South Division 1, but on Sunday they suffered a 6-1 defeat at Romford Raiders in the ENIHL Cup.
Before Saturday's game head coach Kevin Parrish (pictured), having already lost Michael Timms and Anthony Lennon to injuries, and Zach Sullivan and Tim Smith to other clubs, was informed by Richard Bentham that he was joining English Premier League side Peterborough Phantoms.
Parrish said: "It's incredibly frustrating for us as a team, but Richard has had to look out for himself and all we can do is thank him for his efforts during his brief stint in a Dynamos jersey and wish him well in the EPL."
At least there was some good news for Parrish on Saturday as goals from Andy Smith (2), Justin Noble, Nicky Lewis and man-of-the-match Jack Tarczycki were enough to edge out the Jets at Gillingham.
But 24 hours later at Romford, Invicta were always playing catch up after conceding four goals without reply in the first period. Parrish's side battled well after that to restrict the Raiders to one more goal while pulling one back themselves through Ryan Ellis.
