A daughter is desperate to raise funds for her mother's funeral as 'the last thing she can do for her mum'.
Sue Girling from Gillingham died after suffering a heart attack in a taxi on her way to hospital.
She was in intensive care for seven days but passed away on March 19, aged 61.
Sue had no savings and now daughter Emma is struggling to find the funds for her funeral.
The 41-year-old said: "Mum was a wonderful lady who was kind, loving and giving. She did so much for me and she always put me first.
"She wasn't just my mum - she was my mum, my big sister and my best friend all rolled into one.
"I am her only child and her only family left, I never thought I would lose her so young at 61."
Sue, who lived in Selbourne Road with her daughter, had suffered from ill health but Emma said losing her suddenly has been heartbreaking.
"We had talked about her funeral so I know what songs she would like, I just never thought I would be planning it so soon," she said.
"Unfortunately, I have no savings and neither did mum, Covid took care of that."
"My mum gave me everything and never asked for anything in return. I would just like to give her a decent burial as the last thing a loving daughter can do. It is the last thing I can do to say thank-you for everything she did for me."
