Three companies have joined forces to ensure businesses across the county stay connected.

JK Online, Clockwork Moggy and Dragon Co-Working, all based in Medway, set up Together Self Isolated Business Networking on Facebook.

In just under three weeks, the community has garnered more than 1,000 followers.

One of those behind the network, Karl Cowell, set up his business JK Online, which offers digital marketing solutions, with best friend Joe Bennet two years ago.

Their inspiration for helping to set up the private group was wanting to learn about grants and other useful information.

The 26-year-old said: "We always say we are not businessmen, we run a business but we don't know about the financial stuff, we are just really good at making websites.

"We were just looking for advice about grants and other tips.

"It's all local business people coming and sharing information; we have webinars, morning workouts, pub quizzes.

"It's a mixture of learning, fun and social networking."

While the group was originally aimed at Kent businesses, members are now joining from across the country.

As well as a regular scheme of interactive activities, the group also shares regular updates on the government's financial aids.

Karl added: "I think collaboration is always a thing we are always trying to push.

"It's not a selling platform, it's designed to be an advice and guidance platform so that's why people stay, interact and help out."
