KFC closes long-running Chatham High Street branch

Fast food giant KFC has confirmed its Chatham High Street branch has closed.

The fried chicken outlet quashed rumours that the branch would reopen after refurbishment but said diners could take advantage of the new outlet at Horsted Retail Park, which opened earlier this year.

A statement from KFC said: "Sadly, the Colonel's time came to an end on Chatham High Street, but local chicken fans need not despair as they can still visit our nearby restaurant at Horsted Retail Park!”
