A kmfm listener has started their weekend by winning £1,000.

The Kent radio station's competition Thousand Pound Friday invites listeners to enter via text or online from Thursday 6pm, with one entrant chosen at random 24 hours later to win.

With it being the last Thousand Pound Friday of the year and with only five Christmas shopping weekends to go, it meant even more to win the competition.

Freya Harrison from Rainham was at home when she received the phone call from presenter, Rob Wills. It wasn't until he revealed his name that the penny dropped.
