Knight's quest from Rochester Castle to Cuxton to repair St Michael and All Angels Church's organ

This knight in shining armour has marched on a charity trek in the battle to raise money to repair a church organ.
Mark Hubbard, also known as Sir Edward, trudged from Rochester Castle to St Michael and All Angels in Cuxton in a full suit of armour.
Accompanied by Squire Melvin, the medieval soldier took eight hours to walk the four-mile route in sweltering heat.
And when he arrived at the church in Rochester Road, the vicar the Rev Roger Knight, (yes, really) treated him to tea at the vicarage.
He then retreated to the village pub for a well-earned pint.
The Rev Knight believes his unusual challenge came about after a drink with the church bell captain in his local.
He said: “We needed £20,000 to give the organ a much-needed overhaul.
“We started fundraising in March and we are nearly there, probably about £18,000.
“This is an incredible credit to the village.
“It has been a huge community effort and I would like to thank everyone.
“The organ is 19th century and should have been overhauled every 30 years. The years have taken their wear and tear and dust has collected inside the pipes.
“Mark stopped off on the way and had his picture with children who were fascinated with him.
“I’m sure he got a lot of strange looks along the way.” - Rev Knight
“I’m sure he got a lot of strange looks along the way.”
Organist John Bogg said: “The organ is 120 years old and now sounds is lot better and fuller.
“It is certainly a unusual way to raise money for the church and much appreciated.
“When he arrived he was absolutely shattered.”
Mr Bogg, who has been the organist for 30 years after agreeing to fill in for “a couple of weeks”, added: “I think he raised about £140 and that was with a bucket collection on the way and then he took a bucket down the pub.
“I don’t know the man, I only know him as ‘Sir Edward’. But I would like to thank him.”
