Two lorry drivers were stopped and fined for using laptop computers while driving within the space of an hour on the M2.

Shortly after, at approximately 1.50pm, another HGV driver was stopped in the same location for the same offence.

Both drivers were issued with a £200 graduated fixed penalty notice and six penalty points.

The police roads unit tweeted a picture of the first lorry driver's cab, adding: "HGV1 stopped for using his laptop whilst driving. Not only dangerous for not paying attention where he was pointing his 40 ton artic but just look at vision out the window. Driver fined and points issued #commercialvehunit SB."
