The M20 was closed coast-bound after an accident left a lorry straddling both carriageways.

Lanes 2 and 3 were also closed London-bound following the incident, which happened just after 6am this morning.

The crash happened between J1 for the M25 (Swanley Interchange) and J2 for Wrotham.

The coast-bound stretch was closed until just before 10am, when Highways England confirmed all lanes had been reopened.

Police took to Twitter to warn drivers not to try and capture the scene of the accident on their phones.
