A man accused of a string of sex attacks, assaults and robberies on women has a total of 90 alleged victims, it's been revealed.
Judge Philip Statman was told that 22 more charges had been added to the previous 18 levelled at John Guscott.
The 42-year-old, of Kemp Close, Chatham, is accused of committing the offences in Medway, Swale and Whitstable.
He was due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday for a preliminary hearing, but was not produced from prison.
It went ahead in his absence and the judge ordered that Guscott should attend the next hearing on May 12.
Pleas are due to be entered on June 12. A provisional trial date has been set for October 19.
“It is a massive investigation,” said Judge Statman. “It is a complicated investigation.”
The alleged offences took place in Gillingham, Rainham, Chatham, Sittingbourne and Whitstable.
