A man has been airlifted to hospital after being found with injuries inside a property.

Police are trying to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident which happened in Chatham High Street this afternoon.

Officers were called just before 5pm where a man was found with injuries at a property on the road.

Paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was flown to a London hospital.

A police spokesman said: “Officers attended and remain at the scene carrying out enquiries to determine the full circumstances.”

The emergency services have been contacted for further information.
