Wigmore man, Clive Gibson, of Bredhurst Road, appears before magistrates in Medway accused of five offences

A man has appeared before magistrates accused of inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity.

Clive Gibson, 52, appeared before magistrates in Medway after being charged with five offences.

Gibson, of Bredhurst Road, Wigmore, has been charged with three counts of sexual assault on a girl aged over 13 and two counts of inciting a girl to engage in sexual a activity.

Maxwell appeared before magistrates in Medway.

The offences are said to have happened in Rainham earlier this year.

Gibson did not enter any charges in relation the allegations and the case was sent to Maidstone Crown Court to be dealt with.

He is next due to appear there on Friday, December 4, for a preliminary hearing and was granted bail until then.
