A suspected sex attacker has appeared in court over multiple attacks which took place in Gillingham and Rainham.
Ionel Arsenii was charged with seven offences of sexual assault and indecent exposure.
He appeared via video link Medway Magistrates' Court this afternoon.
The 25-year-old Romanian national of Wakeley Road, Rainham, was arrested on Tuesday evening.
He stood accused of three counts of sexual assault which took place in Gillingham, three counts of indecent exposure in Rainham, and one count of attempted sexual assault, also in Gillingham.
Arsenii's arrest was linked to that investigation, however, the most recent three charges relate to incidents after police launched an appeal.
All of the offences are alleged to have taken place in April and May.
Arsenii, who appeared with a Romanian interpreter, was not asked to enter a plea when he appeared before magistrates.
The court heard from the prosecution the police were still investigating at least 15 other incidents of a similar nature, and were yet to carry out further interviews with Arsenii.
Magistrates decided to adjourn the case until Monday, June 3, in order to allow the police to continue their investigation.
Arsenii was remanded in police custody.
Police previously released an e-fit and gave details of 20 offences being linked to one man.
