Man arrested after assault in Chatham High Street

A man has been arrested after a fight in the middle of Chatham.

The footage shows two men, one shirtless, arguing outside Primark on the High Street.

The situation then becomes physical and the shirtless man is elbowed in the head by the other forcing him to the floor.

When he stands up he is kicked between the legs and punched several times before falling to the floor again.

He is then kicked in the head and they continue to fight on the floor before onlookers decide to intervene and split the two up.

A man's been arrested after the fight

Police were called to the incident at 12.17pm and arrested a 24-year-old man.

No injuries were reported and he has since been released pending further inquiries.
