On arrival, a car was found on its roof with a male driver trapped inside.

Crews used hydraulic rescue gear and the "jaws of life" to free the driver who was stuck inside.

He was then passed into the care of paramedics.

The emergency services left the scene just over two hours later at 11.12am.
