Police continue search of River Medway after man fell from M2 bridge

Police are still searching a river several days after a man in a distressed state fell from a motorway bridge.

Police helicopters were seen hovering over the River Medway overnight on Wednesday, July 31 and into the next morning.

They were called following reports of a distressed man seen on the M2 bridge.

Police spokesman James Walker said: "Our inquiries are still ongoing and at present there is no update."
