Police are searching for a driver who fled the scene of a car crash which left one man in hospital.

The two-car collision occurred in Cuxton Road, Rochester, at around 5.20am today (Saturday).

Police and paramedics attended but found that the driver of one of the vehicles had left the scene.

A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the driver of one of the cars was taken to a local hospital.

“The driver of the other vehicle was not at the scene when officers attended and enquiries are ongoing to locate them.”

Police said the hospitalised man’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
