Emergency services were called after a man was found with injuries in an alleyway near a school.

Police and ambulance crews attended an alley linking Watling Street and Columbine Close near Strood Academy yesterday afternoon.

Officers were called at around 3.50pm to a report that a 19-year-old man was hurt.

A police spokesperson said: “The man received medical attention from South East Coast Ambulance Service at the scene and did not require further treatment at hospital.”

Inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident.
