Man in distress on M2 near Rochester

Traffic was held by police on the M2 earlier this evening following reports of a man in distress.

Vehicles on the M2 westbound near Rochester were stopped from junction 3 with the A2045 to junction 2 with the A228.

Police held up traffic on the M2

A police spokesman said: "Traffic was held on the M2 in Rochester after police were called to a report of a man in distress at 6.43pm on Sunday, December 29."

The incident was resolved by 10pm and the man involved was taken home.
