Officers called to High Street in Strood following an assault

Police were called out after a man was assaulted and knocked to the floor.

Officers attended the High Street in Strood at 1.15pm on Saturday after a report that a man and woman had been assaulted by a man.

Their injuries are described as minor.

An assault was reported outside a row of shops in the High Street, Strood.

The suspect left the scene towards Station Road.
