A man reportedly threatened to jump from a multi-storey car park in the early hours of this morning.

Police were called to reports of concern for a man's welfare in The Brook in Chatham at 11.07pm last night, and road closures were enforced to ensure public safety.

The man eventually approached officers at 3.20am and was handed into the care of medical services.
