Body found and police tape-off home in St Mary's Walk, Burham, near Rochester

The body of a man in his 40s has been found at a village home near Rochester.

Police were called to St Mary’s Walk, Burham at about 4.20pm yesterday following a report of concern for a man.

Officers taped off a residential area outside the home, off New Road.

Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service were also called to attend a private address.

Police have confirmed a man in his 40s has died.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
