The latest edition of the Medway Messenger is in the shops now with all the weekend news, sport and pictures.
Saturday saw the Pride in Medway gala awards evening, with veteran fundraiser Bill Strong named as the overall winner. He is pictured with deputy mayor Cllr Barry Kemp and TV presenter Geoff Clark. Find out more about the moving awards night inside the paper.
It was also an emotional weekend for the family and friends of Capt Dan Read, killed in Afghanistan in January, who gathered for a memorial service at the Garrison Church in Brompton.
