A young martial arts fighter is currently abroad training for his biggest fight yet.
Kayne Isaac from Gillingham is taking on the UK's number one MMA fighter in the country.
And according to his manager Peter Kirwan, the 19-year-old is in "incredible shape and ready for the match".
The contest on Saturday, March 7 in Colchester, Essex is another step towards Kayne turning professional this year having clinched a string of prestigious titles in the ring.
The former Howard School Rainham pupil has set his sights high and is hoping to get big purse fights all over the world.
He trains at the Granite Gym, which is the former St Bart's Chapel in Rochester, under the watchful eye of head coach Chris Garnett.
His mother, Karla, introduced him to MMA at the age of five and he soon became hooked on "the buzz, adrenalin and self-discipline".
Kayne who lives in Devonshire Road, is going through his moves at a specialist gym in Sweden ahead of the meeting with Muhidin Abubaker.
He said: "I’m feeling really well healthy and fit. Most of all I’m happy and eager to step into the cage. I’m looking forward to show all my new skills that I've learned in the training camp.
"I feel more hungry than ever as it feels like a while since I fought."
He miraculously won a national title just months after breaking his ankle which doctors told him would put him out of action for a year-and-a-half.
