Museum of the Moon exhibition at Rochester Cathedral draws in huge crowds

More than 103,000 people have visited Rochester Cathedral's Museum of the Moon exhibition in just 19 days.

Officials said today's footfall exceeded 6,000 and there are now just three days left to view the giant inflatable art installation, which was created using high definition lunar imagery from NASA.

Chapter clerk Simon Lace earlier said: "The feedback is amazing, absolutely fantastic.

"Everyone I have spoken to has said how wonderful it is.”

Last year, the cathedral hosted the 25ft-high Knife Angel statue made of 100,000 confiscated knives, which was visited by more than 44,000 people.

Visitors were also able to take part in a crazy golf course in the summer, which saw over 29,000 visit.
