They covered Lordswood, Blue Bell Hill, Nashenden Farm in Borstal and Lower Gillingham.

During the day officers issued 10 section 59 warnings which means if a warning has been issued and that person or vehicle is stopped again for being a nuisance within a one-year period, the vehicle can be seized and inpounded by police.

Officers also seized three motorcycles after two riders abandoned them on seeing police and a third agreed to forfeit ownership of his bike.

They also identified two suspects for criminal damage after they were stopped riding through field of crops.

Sergeant Steve Holpin from the Medway Community Safety Unit said: "Anti-social behaviour in the form of nuisance motorcycles can have a devastating impact on people’s lives and we take reports of this nature very seriously.

"We will continue to carry out these types of operations and will deal with all offences identified and seize bikes where appropriate.

"We would always encourage people to report any incidents to us on 101.

"This allows us to build a picture of the problem and deal with accordingly."
