A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash with a car on a busy main road.

Police were called to New Road, Chatham at around 2.35pm following reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a motorbike.

Officers and paramedics attended the scene where the motorcyclist was treated for a head injury.

He was later taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.
